A motorist crashed into a lamppost after losing control of his car yesterday evening (June 13).
Firefighters were called to South Street, South Chailey, shortly after 6.20pm.
The driver is thought to have lost control of his car before smashing into the lamppost outside a shop.
He was able to get out of the car unaided and called for help.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics for what are thought to be minor injuries.
Anyone who witnessed the crash should contact police on 101.
