Students are to take a journey down the yellow brick road.
Pupils at Longhill High School in Falmer Road, Brighton, are making final preparations for two performances of the MGM classic The Wizard of Oz.
More than 35 students from Years 7 to 10 will perform the tale of the epic journey of Dorothy, the Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion and the Scarecrow on Wednesday and Thursday.
Pam Dolton, the school’s enrichment coordinator, said: “It contains all the much-loved songs from the Oscar-winning movie score, all the favourite characters and iconic moments, plus a few surprises.”
Tickets for the event are available from the school’s cashier office.
