The leader of one of the country’s biggest unions is to speak at a conference next month.
General secretary of the Communications Workers Union, Billy Hayes, will take to the stage at the University of Brighton event on July 6.
He will be joined by branch secretary of Brighton and Hove City Council Unison, Alex Knutson, South East regional chair of civil service union PCS, Clive Bryant and vice president elect of the lecturers union UCU, Liz Lawrence.
Turkish trade unionist, Ronnie Margulies, has also been confirmed to report on the revolt against austerity in his country which has hit the headlines in recent weeks.
A CityClean GMB member will also be there to speak about their ongoing pay dispute.
The event, which will include practical workshops, starts from 11am.
