A motorcyclist who died following a collision with a car in has been named.
20-year-old Fabio Voigt of Sydney Road in Haywards Heath died at the scene after emergency services were called to High Beech Lane at 1.44pm.
The 50-year old Balcombe woman who was driving the car, an Audi A3, was unhurt.
The road was closed in the area of Haywards Heath Golf Club near Sandridge Lane while the collision was investigated.
Sergeant Neil Walker of the Sussex Road Policing Unit said: "Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call us on 101 quoting Operation Canute or to e-mail collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk.”
