Fifty cannabis plants worth an estimated £30,000 have been seized following a police raid.

Officers targeted the property in Upper South Road, St Leonards, on June 25.

A 32-year old local man was arrested on suspicion of cannabis production and has been released on police bail until August 18.

Chief Inspector Paul Phelps said :”Please do keep your calls coming in around drug cultivation and dealing.

“These issues are frequently set as priorities at our quarterly public panel meetings.”
