Driver in critical condition after collision with unmarked police van
A 34-year-old is in a critical condition after she was hit by an unmarked police van on Friday (June 28).
The woman was driving her Ford Fiesta on the A29 at Warnham, near Horsham, when she collided with the Surrey Police Transit Van.
Emergency services were called and she was taken to hospital shortly after 1pm.
She remains in a critical but stable condition in Kings College Hospital in London.
The road was closed for over four hours while collision investigators examined the scene.
The Independent Police Complaints Commission has been informed.
