University of Brighton lecturer Dr Juliet Millican wins £10k award
University lecturer Dr Juliet Millican has won a national teaching award worth £10,000.
She has been appointed a National Teaching Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in recognition of her role bringing the local community and the university closer.
Dr Millican, deputy director of the University of Brighton’s community university partnership programme, has been developing student-community engagement programmes since 2004.
