Businesses are lining up to show their support for the Brighton Pride parade.

Around 100,000 people will take to the streets of Brighton on August 3 to celebrate the city’s gay community.

Pride’s organisers are offering the city’s business community a way to get involved on the city’s biggest day of the year.

The Pride team will be visiting firms over the next few weeks to offer them the opportunity to back the parade with a Pride window sticker at a cost of £30.

One business already proudly displaying their Pride window stickers is Forde Hair on St James’s Street and the She Said Boutique in The Lanes.

Gary Forde at Forde Hair said: “It’s the simplest way of displaying my support of Pride and all it does to the public. It’s great that LGBT people now have an easy way of seeing which businesses are LGBT friendly in the city too, simply by looking out for the sticker.”

Nic at She Said boutique added: “As a long term supporter of Pride I think it’s essential for my business to display this sticker. It’s fun and colourful just like the event itself. I’m very proud to have it in my boutique window.”
