Love is in the air for Sussex singletons after the launch of a new “old-fashioned” dating service.
Youmee Dating is “strictly non-internet”, instead trying to match couples through activities including walking, dancing and eating.
Founder Debbie Brown said: “We wanted to offer people a more social and interactive alternative to internet and speed dating.
“You get to enjoy doing something you love while meeting other singles – and if sparks fly, fabulous.
“It’s like dating the old-fashioned way.”
To promote the service, a giant bee called Yoo and a bird called Mee will be roaming around Brighton over the next few weeks.
The Yoomee launch party is on Saturday July 27. Membership is free until August 1 2013.
