Children have been learning how to be as good as gold.
Woodingdean Primary School enjoyed a ‘Gold Day’ based on the golden rules of good behaviour.
The golden rules principle was developed by education guru Jenny Mosely and encourages good behaviour by making children ambassadors.
Pupils enjoyed art, music, drama and dance while dressed in gold for a day to bring home the message.
Headteacher Jonathan Whitfield said: “It’s really filtered through to them and they want to be good as gold.
“The well-behaved children get given golden badges and are able to show others that they always do the right thing and act as role models for all other children.
“I write golden letters in golden ink which I send by post and thank children for their brilliant behaviour.
“I should say behaviour here is outstanding.”
