Three of Sussex’s business bosses will be offering themselves as slaves at Ladies Day at Sussex County Cricket Ground.

Guests attending will have the chance to bid for the services of Gary Peters, founder of Brighton&HoveJobs.com, former Outstanding Brightonian and chief executive of Rockinghorse Ryan Heal, left, and the managing director of Brighton & Hove Independent, Mark Ansell.

All proceeds raised at the event on July 19 will go to Brighton based children’s charity Rockinghorse.

Mr Peters said: “It's going to be a great day out and I’m really looking forward to raising money for such a worthy cause.

“It's going to be a lot of fun.

“I just hope we are allowed a drink or two – it sounds like we’re going to need them.”

Tickets cost £70 and are available from sussexcricket.co.uk or 0844 264 0202.
