Dogs will be battling it out to prove themselves top of the pups.

Doggy Pride will be returning to the city later this month as a four-legged pre-cursor to the main event.

The event will take place at Hove RFC in Shirley Drive, Hove, on Sunday, July 28, and will feature awards for numerous categories as well as retail stalls, a glamorous catwalk doggy fashion show, bar and refreshments.

Doggy Pride 2013 has been organised in association with Brighton-based Coastway Veterinary group who have a long-standing link with the event.A team from the surgery will be overseeing all entries including judging.

Dulcie Danger of Brighton Pride CIC said: “Doggy Pride 2013 is the perfect day out for all dogs and their owners and is totally admission free.

“It is one of the highlights of Brighton Pride for many people and I can't wait.”

To enter your pet pooch to compete in your chosen category either online through the Pride website www.brighton-pride.org or onsite on the day itself.

Registration costs £3 per class and will be taken from 11.30am.
