A car was deliberately set on fire in Whitehawk yesterday.
Fire fighters were called to the incident following reports that a motorcycle was ablaze.
The motorcycle was in fact a car and officers worked quickly to extinguish the flames.
The incident took place at 9.43pm yesterday in Whitehawk Road, next to Whitehawk School.
