Picture-perfect pooches strutted their stuff for Pride’s dog show.
Pet owners and their fourlegged friends gathered at Hove RFC on Sunday for the return of Doggy Pride 2013.
The event, which was dropped last year, was held ahead of next weekend’s major celebration, which is due to attract 160,000 people.
The event featured awards, stalls, a catwalk and a doggy fashion show.
The country’s first ever Trans Pride event was held in New Steine Gardens on Saturday and a Pride documentary showing was held at Komedia and the Duke of York Cinema on Friday.
Sussex Police hoisted a Trans Pride flag outside Brighton police station in support of the movement, as well as donating £400 to Trans Pride from the Police Property Act Fund.
Brighton and Hove City Council also flew the official ‘trans’ flag outside its civic building in Grand Avenue, Hove.
Green Party councillor Phelim Mac Cafferty, who spoke at Trans Pride, said: “I’m honoured to speak at Trans Pride Brighton for the first ever event in the UK.
“Here’s to many more.”
