A cancer charity will be offering advice and support at Brighton Pride on Saturday.

The Macmillan mobile information service will be on hand at Preston Park to answer questions about cancer from patients, carers and family, friends and colleagues.

More than 300 people visited the charity's green bus at last year's Pride and organisers are hoping similar numbers will drop in again.

Macmillan information specialist Tracy Neill said: “No one should face cancer alone and a service such as ours means support is available nearby.

“We visit town centres and events across the south east and we’re here for anyone – people who have had a cancer diagnosis, carers, friends or anyone who just wants to know more about cancer.

“The service is free, confidential and no appointment is necessary – just step on board."
