Thieves did not give a hoot when they stole a stuffed owl from the pub area of a hotel. The distinctive barn owl was stolen from The Bell Hotel, High Street, Ticehurst, on September 20 by a man who was with two women.
It is the third time a stuffed animal has been stolen from the pub. PC Jessica Crump said: “The staff at the pub are upset that one of their taxidermy ani-mals has been stolen as it is part of what makes the pub original.”
Call Sussex Police on 101.
