Tim Ridgway writes about speed limits, with safety being more important (The Argus, September 30).

I do agree that, although it is tough to keep speeds down, it is safer in the long run.

Not only that, it keeps the driver more relaxed – well, me anyway.

All driver’s should attend refresher lessons in driving – they need to slow down and calm down and become aware of when they are doing something wrong.

Being polite does matter. We all have to put up with new ways of trying to work things out for the better for all people and we must learn to get along.
