Further to your story about the school shaming rude motorists (October 19), well done, St Mary’s.
It’s about time a school took a stand against idiotic drivers parking on double-yellows and zig-zags.
Will it take the death of a child for these people to see the light?
Parents: it’s dangerous to park there. Those markings are for your little children to come and go safely to and from school.
Why is it so impossible for a small minority of children to walk a small distance to get to their parent’s car?
It’s amazing – some children manage to walk a fair distance to get home. Others even manage to get on a bus.
Come on all you schools, get out there with your cameras and start shaming bad motorists, before someone does die...
