Goring woman treated after kitchen fire
A woman had to be treated for smoke inhalation after her dinner preparations got out of hand.
The woman, said to be in her mid 40s, required first aid at the scene after a kitchen fire in her home in Kipling Avenue, Goring, at just before 6pm last night.
The woman suffered the smoke inhalation by trying to battle with the fire herself before calling firefighters.
A crew from Worthing station attended the incident and said the fire had done only minimal damage to the kitchen.
