These two instruments were stolen during a burglary.

The break-in happened at an address in Elm Avenue, East Preston, on Sunday September 21 and may be offered for sale.

Sussex Police officers have so far been unable to trace the guitars, but it’s believed they may have been taken to Brighton and Hove.

Detective Constable Angela De Vivo, of West Sussex CID, said: "The instruments were a Warwick Streamer LX Jazzman four-string bass guitar and an Eko full bodied acoustic six-string guitar. They are both of great sentimental value to the victim.

"I'm keen to speak to anyone who may have been offered the items or who has seen them for sale. I desperately want to return them to their owner and to catch the burglars responsible."
