The New York Film Academy rolled into town this week as college students got the chance to learn from its associate director.
Jonathan Juarbe, associate director of acting and musical theatre admissions at New York Film Academy, visited Sussex Downs College in Lewes on Wednesday.
During his visit, students had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to audition for Mr Juarbe to see whether they could cut it as apprentices at the internationally-renowned institution.

The opportunity came as part of the college’s Performing Arts and Entertainment Industries Careers Day, which was attended by more than 300 Sussex Downs College students and local pupils studying performing arts at school.
Linda Banks, curriculum leader for performing arts, said: “This careers day has once again been a huge success. The day ended on a high when five students from the college were offered places at The New York Film Academy on its acting and musical theatre programmes.”
