Thank you Bill Gardner for writing your article about suicidal patients being turned away from mental health wards (October 23).
Without The Argus focusing on this serious social issue, in print, we would all be ignorant of the true facts.
Readers should contact their MPs and insist they state what their views are and what action they have taken or are taking regarding this crisis.
After all, none of them themselves have brought this problem to our attention.
