Readers, be careful when visiting the Greyhound Stadium in Hove as you could get a parking fine.
In the foyer, there is a machine into which you enter your car registration number. The car park is owned by the Co-op – by using this machine you are exempt from the shop’s two-hour parking limit.
Two weeks later I received a penalty notice for the sum of £90.
I appealed but was unsuccessful. I wasn’t given anything to prove I had used the machine.
Someone else in my group also got this notice and paid up straight away, reducing the fine to £45.
How many other readers have had the same experience?
