I nearly fell off my chair the other week while reading The Argus (Letters, October 7).
The news which surprised me was that Conservative MP Mike Weatherley (pictured left) was supporting the consumer rather than the big company, albeit it a train company.
The phrase “Johnny-come-lately” springs to mind, but then again there is an election in less than 18 months’ time.
Next, will we see the MP for Hove backing the employee rather than the employer?
