A cyclist suffered a cut head after being punched in a bike rage incident.

The 62-year-old cyclist was punched by a pedestrian in Lottbridge Drove, Eastbourne, near Tesco at about 9pm on Saturday forcing him off his bike and causing him to cut his head and bruise his ribs.

Police have described the incident as “an unprovoked assault”.
