A cyclist suffered a suspected broken wrist after a hit-and-run collision.
The 39-year-old Eastbourne man was riding out of Hailsham when a car collided with him from behind but failed to stop.
He fell into the road and injured his left wrist and suffered bruising and grazing.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision in South Road, Hailsham, at around 11.45am yesterday (Sunday, December 8).
Sergeant Graeme McKee, of Sussex Police, said: "This incident occurred at a busy location ands someone must have seen what happened.
"May I remind drivers of the need to allow plenty of space for cyclists. Unfortunately, some drivers are passing cyclists far too close.
"It is important that drivers think about overtaking cyclists in a safe manner, ensuring that they give plenty of space both to the cyclist and oncoming vehicles."
Witnesses should phone Sussex Police on 101 or e-mail collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk.
