Brighton's Open Market will now open to the public in March - many months after its original launch date of summer 2013.
The market's website has launched at www.brightonopenmarket.co.uk - but the finishing touches are still being made to the non-virtual version.
The £20 million market off London Road in Brighton was originally due to open this summer but in October organisers said the opening would be pushed back until January - and it's now been pushed back a further two months.
Owners Brighton Open Market CIC say when it does eventually open, it will breathe a new lease of life into Brighton’s historic Open Market quarter.
The new market canopy is currently in the process of being installed and the paving of the market square is under way.
Forty-five new permanent traders and dozens of temporary traders will be able to take up occupancy at the development in 2014.
Joanne Harris, project manager for The Hyde Group, who have overseen the development said: “We cannot wait for Brighton Open Market CIC to throw open the doors and welcome in the local community to what promises to be a vibrant and thriving new market space.”
