A onesie-wearing teenager was robbed as he walked to the newsagents.
The 18-year-old, from Shoreham was wearing the distinctive black one-piece garment with a skeleton print on it when he was set upon.
Two men approached him from behind, assaulted him and took his mobile phone, as he walked along Brunswick Road, Shoreham, at 7am on Thursday, December 31. The victim suffered bruising to his face and hand.
The first suspect was described as white, aged 18-21, 5'11", of stocky build, with fair hair and wearing a white top.
The second suspect was white, aged 17-18 years old , 5'6", stocky build, with dark hair and wearing a dark coloured hoodie.
Witnesses are asked to call 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 162 of 31/12.
