Pink boots and a psychedelic ripple proved top-of-the-togs in a digital image competition.
Enthusiastic snappers were asked to submit entries for Seaford Photographic Society’s Projected Digital Image (PDI) contest last week.
The categories – Abstract and Transport – encouraged more than 50 submissions from members across Sussex.
MORE:
Kevin Smoker scooped the Abstract category with his “Neon Ripple – Candy Shoppe” effort, right.
The winner of the Transport competition was Graham Huntley with his pink boots shot in “Shanks’ Pony”, left.
Heather Roberts, of the Seaford Photographic Society, said: “Both competitions were judged by Paul Dunmall, who complimented the society on our variety of work and expressed his pleasure at visiting again as he liked our style of banter.
“We had some great submissions and the winners are very deserving.
“This year is our Silver Jubilee year and we’ve got off to a flying start. We’ve had a great exhibition already and we plan to have an anniversary dinner at the end of the season.”
The society meets every Friday at Chyngton Methodist Church in Millberg Road, off Hillside Avenue, in Seaford.
Doors open at 7pm for meetings, which start at 7.45pm. The season started on September 6, 2013 and ends on June 7.
