Air ambulance attends crash in Nutley as car hits lamppost
A man had to be cut free from his car after it crashed into a lamppost near Nutley this morning.
The Landrover Discovery left Chelwood Gate Road between Nutley and Chelwood Gate at about 9am.
It hit the lamppost which was severed in two from the impact.

The air ambulance attended the scene and the 53-year-old man was rushed to Royal Sussex County Hospital with pelvic injuries.
The road was closed while the man was cut free from the car by fire crews and treated by paramedics.
Police believe icy roads this morning may have contributed to the crash.
