Dozens of homes in Little Horsted, near Uckfield, are without power.
Around 40 properties are affected by a powercut in the Eastbourne Road area.
A spokesman from UK Power Networks said: "UK Power Networks engineers are working as quickly and as safely as possible to restore electricity supplies to 40 customers affected by a power cut in the Eastbourne Road area of Little Horsted.
"Problems with the overhead distribution network began at about 8.40am today (January 29) with supplies lost to 77 customers at 10.04am.
"Engineers have been working to restore power in poor weather conditions, with 37 customers having supplies again at 11.51am.
"We appreciate how difficult it can be to lose power and would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused by this incident."
