I WAS driving between Bowburn and Sherburn Village when I noticed a sign on the roundabout leading to Durham and Peterlee asking if people would sponsor the roundabout.
Sadly, the sign did not say whether the roundabout would be doing a sponsored walk or a sponsored silence, so I decided not to bother.
