Regarding former Labour MP David Lepper’s letter of February 21, I too was bemused by Jason Kitcat’s sneering of The Argus poll during a recent meeting about council tax at Hove Town Hall.
On asking random adults in Churchill Square, eight out of ten said no to a tax rise.
The council leader has lost half the support of his own party but, with a salary of £40,000, Jason is not going to step down.
How many houses have been built in Brighton and Hove over the past three years?
What happened to the new “eco town” this party spoke of in 2010?
