Two-year-olds will have their own space to play thanks to a revamp at a city crèche.
The Honeycroft Centre based at St Barnabas Hall in Sackville Road, Hove, officially launched its regeneration on Wednesday, which early learning professional Anna Kokorzydka, 32, thinks will help children’s development.
She said: “It was a brilliant day and the turnout was really good.
“It was important to hold an event to let everyone know what is going on.
“Whereas before the two-year-olds were being pushed out by the older children, now they have their own space. It will be great for their development.
“They’re not totally cut off and there is a door to the big room they were in previously, so they’ll still have that access but it will just ease the transition.”
An office and a sensory room have been merged to create the room especially for the younger age group.
