So a broken-down car was given a parking ticket in Brighton (The Argus, February 25)? Well, that says it all.

Please don’t tell us they don’t get bonus payments for the amount of cars they book. They’ll be putting tickets on ambulances and hearses next (oh no, they’ve already done that). No wonder so many people give visiting Brighton a miss.

Couldn’t the police give the two “helpful” traffic wardens a warning for being a danger on the public highway? Don’t hold your breath.
