Why on earth has this taken 8 days to be put in the paper?

Hope he's found safe and well very soon.

Shame his parents aren't doing more about this - or are they the cause of him leaving?

The police only issued a missing persons appeal yesterday.

People are so quick to judge the parents when you don't know what has happened. I'm sure just like most teenagers he has got in with the wrong crowed and got in a bit of a pickle and doesn't know what to do,his family must be worried sick and just want him home safe, so think before you judge the parents ect that is someone's little boy and yes the police and papers should have spoke sooner and not left it nearly a week.

My son ran away for 3 days aged 15. There were sightings of him , but that didn't stop it being the most worrying 3 days of my life. I was physically sick with worry. The reason he ran away.. Because I disciplined him for being a little sod when he got in with the wrong crowd. Like most 15 yr olds He didn't like being told off ! And his friends were allowed out later ,allowed to do pretty much what they liked etc and he wanted to aswell. Pls don't be so quick to judge the parents it's highly likely they are trying to stop bad behaviour not condone it.
