A 33-year-old who was sentenced to 18 months in prison is being hunted by police for failing to attend his probation appointments.
Police in Brighton are seeking Gareth Jamieson, who is wanted for recall to prison.
Jamieson is described as white, 5'10", of heavy build, with brown eyes, brown hair and is believed to have a beard.
He was sentenced for possessing an offensive weapon in August 2013 and was released on license in March this year.
But he was recalled to prison soon afterwards for failing to attend his appointments with his supervising probation officer.
Jamieson is not thought to pose a direct threat to the general public but anyone who sees him should dial 999.
Anyone with any other information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Sussex Police on 101 or via 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 0743 of 18/3 or call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
