I suspect that if you took a loaded 357. Magnum with plenty of extra shells and frequented many of these cesspit areas of Brighton, one could clean up the city of the slime that festers within it's environs. Such a person would be doing the good folk of B&H a great favour.

Maybe the police could also take men dogging there seriously while they're at it? I know it scores no points with you pc libs, but it is STILL criminal offence is it not? The whole area is a lawless no-go area. You libs don't even try to hide your agendas...you shameless hucksters!!!

People should make a note of this dogs detailed description and ring police if they see this dog. The poor owner must be going through hell it's awful. These idiots must be caught before they snatch someone else's much loved pet. (PS a picture would be helpful) Millions of people live in this county, it only takes one sharp eyed person to bring these horrible people before the courts and return this poor dog to his worried owner.

I think you might actually be surprised that the so called men you refer to as dogging in the area the vast majority of them are not out gays but closset gays and Bi's that go back to there wifes and girlfriends. They are also the ones that take the most risks as they don't carry protection incase these partnesrs find them.

Can anybody tell me why on earth this dog wasn't at home tucking into a selection of delicious doggy treats? Instead this poor dog has been subjected to a truly horrific experience that you wouldn't wish on anybody. As brick top says in Snatch ''If I throw a dog a bone, I don't want to know if it tastes nice'' It's a shame that those perverts up at dukes mound are throwing a different type of bone.

Agree a picture should be published but I think the delay of this dreadful incident has probably left it too late. The dog will be probably well away from the area. All sorts of dreadfull things could have happened to it hope it has not been used as bait for dog fighters. This incident must really be treated as a major incident as anyone walking there dog is at risk.

Most commenters have missed the point, a man has had his dog stolen. This is not good, many residents of Kemp Town, men, women, children walk their dogs on the grassed area at Dukes Mound and let's hope these thieves do not strike again. Why assume that all people that use this end of town do so for one reason only, I have spent many sunny afternoon with my children on the grass and have never been exposed to anything unsavoury. Everyone knows to steer clear of the bushes, it is not right, but activity has been going on in there for years.

When we were kids, back in the 50s, you could go anywhere on Brighton seafront, as we did for hours on end on non-schools days and no one worried about us or for our safety. The moral decline of this country is horrendous but then no one ever talks about responsibilities, only rights and entitlements
