Would it be a good idea to have an advice column in The Argus so that readers can give the benefit of their own experiences?

I ask as I am about to take my first train ride in 30-plus years.

I need to get from Brighton to Derby, changing at Croydon then St Pancras and onward to Derby.

The last time I was on a train it was a slam-door with separate rooms, windows that opened and connecting corridors. There were nice toilets and a restaurant car.

Do I need any advice on how to survive this ordeal? I promise not to do it again for another 30 years.
