THOUSANDS more agricultural lovers enjoyed the sunshine during the second day of The South of England Show.
The showground in Ardingly was buzzing with people donning sunglasses and applying sun cream ready to embrace the event’s marquees, agricultural displays and food and drink.
Attractions for all ages were being catered for, from the children’s amusement funfair - with an equestrian-themed carousel, to watching horse shoe and show jumping competitions.
There was also live hive demonstrations from 11am onwards in the Bees and Honey tent, a buzzing demonstration that showed people exactly what busy bees do inside the hive.
The fun didn’t stop there as the Ardingly Ring showcased some great entertainment with the cavalcade of hounds at 1.30pm, the heavy horse turnout at 2.30pm and the livestock parade at 3.15pm.
Adrenaline junkie seekers could watch in awe as Aussie stuntmen, Matt Coulter and his son, Sam, perform as the ‘Kangaroo Kids’ did some challenging quad bike and motorcycle acrobatics at 2pm and 5.40pm.
The South of England Show is open for its final day of the year today from 9am to 6.30pm.
