I feel I had to respond to the letter by planning and transport campaigner Chris Todd.
Many years ago I decided to move away from Brighton and I am glad I did.
I didn’t think it was possible to screw up the roads in the city any more, but it has happened by installing yet more bus and cycle lanes, introducing 20mph speed limits and bus stops that block the roads.
This is why Brighton suffers from poor air quality, because nothing can move freely around the town.
Many people now stay away because of this. And the outrageously high parking charges are driving people away from the city centre.
Come on folks, this eco nonsense has to be reined in.
