ANTHONY Booth was nominated by his tutor Phil Hill, who said the City College Brighton and Hove student had smashed through serious barriers to move forward in his education.

His natural flair for motor mechanics has seen him get approached by Formula One team McLaren who are looking to take him on as a trainee mechanic.

Anthony said: “I’m really chuffed to get this because I know how hard I’ve worked to deserve this.

“I’m really thrilled that McLaren would be interested in me over thousands of people that could have wanted it.”

Anthony wants to be working full-time on the circuit one day, and he’s heading in the right direction to realise his dream.
