A jogger was assaulted at knifepoint.
Police officers were called to near Coxcombe Walk, Gossops Green, Crawley, at 2.35pm on Thursday after a reports a 29-year old local man received a cut to his chest from an unknown knifeman. He did not require hospital treatment.
Detective sergeant Glenn Willcocks said: "Thankfully the cut he received was just superficial but it has obviously left him extremely shaken. The suspect is described as a white man in his mid to late 20s, stocky build, wearing blue jeans and black hooded top with the hood up. The is believed to have run in the direction of Mowbray Drive.
"Anyone with information or saw what happened is asked to contact police on 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 911 of 19/6."
