A 62-year old man has been stood down from bail after being arrested on suspicion of sending offensive Twitter messages about murdered toddler James Bulger.
The man, who was arrested at an address in Clinch Green Avenue, Bexhill, on Thursday May 22, contrary to the Malicious Communications Act 1993, has been informed that police are taking no action against him.
Enquiries have now established that he was unconnected with the tweets. No further enquiries are being carried out in Sussex in relation to this matter.
