Brighton veggie restaurant named best in the country

First published in News

A vegetarian restaurant has beaten more than 4,000 other eateries to be named the top choice for diners.

Food for Friends in Brighton yesterday won the annual OpenTable Diners’ Choice Awards.

The Albert Street eaterie ranked first in the Top 50 Fit for Foodies list, which was compiled using more than 325,000 reviews from OpenTable diners for more than 4,000 restaurants.

Owner Ramin Mostowfi said: “Everyone at Food for Friends is thrilled. It is especially gratifying knowing the award comes from diners.”

The restaurant has won awards such as Best Restaurant at the Brighton Foodie Awards 2012.

Interesting - I ate here and hated it.

Many years ago this place was my favourite but it's gone up in price enormously and down in quality IMO.
