A STUDENT who died after being hit by a car has been named.
Adam Zachary Rice, 21, was with the International Summer School of Sussex University from California in America.
He was seriously injured on the A27 at Falmer on Saturday, July 5.
Emergency services were called at around 1.15am to a collision on the eastbound A27 at Falmer between a car and a pedestrian.
Adam, who was the pedestrian, died at hospital on Sunday, July 6.
Police are appealing to witnesses to contact police on 101 or email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting Operation Telemark.
