A clubber suffered a broken jaw after a fight in the early hours.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the attack close to Club XS, in Prospect Place, Hastings on July 5 at around 3.15am.

A 21-year-old from Bexhill was taken to hospital with a broken jaw.

It is believed there may have been an earlier confrontation between two men inside the club and police want to speak to any witnesses.

Call them on 101, email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or talk to independent Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting serial 224 of 05/07.

A 35-year-old man from Bexhill was arrested later the same day on suspicion of GBH and has since been bailed until August 19.
