Firefighters called to deal with small fire at nursing home
A fire broke out in a nursing home in East Sussex this morning.
Firefighters were called to Ersham House on Ersham Road in Hailsham to deal with a small fire which had started accidentally.
Crews from Herstmonceux, Eastbourne and Hailsham were mobilised at 3:49am to deal with the incident.
The fire was located in the lift electrical motor and the electrics were isolated.
No one was injured.
