A CAMPAIGN to bring a free 24-hour cash machine into a neighbourhood has moved a step closer to success.
The campaign, launched by Labour parliamentary candidate Nancy Platts, for a free 24-hour cash machine in Moulsecoomb and Bevendean has been boosted by the news that Link’s head of consumer affairs Mary Buffee will visit the area tomorrow.
The visit is significant because Link operates the rules which allow ATM operators to connect across the UK.
Ms Platts says the area, one of the most deprived in the city, needs a 24-hour ATM.
