A road will finally reopen almost two years after it was closed because of safety fears.
The railway bridge in Wilbury Villas, Hove, will reopen on Friday, August 1, following £100,000 of repairs to the bridge’s steel structure.
The road was originally scheduled to reopen at the end of June but was held back to allow residents to hold a street party on the bridge on Saturday, July 12.
Works to install a new width restriction started after that.
Contractors will also lay new pavements and resurface the road.
